We put the school bags together with the pens, pencils, notebooks, rubbers, pencil sharpeners ready to be delivered later on in the day.

We delivered a food parcel and a school bag to one family. The boy was so pleased to get the notepad in the school bag.

We went into town to some food, and while we were in the restaurant 3 children came in off the street begging. We gave them a meal each and then noticed that on child had no shoes on his feet. He had his feet painted red to hide the fact he was not wearing any shoes. We walked over the road to the shoe shop to buy him a pair for €8.

Later in the afternoon we paid a visit to Coloneya to deliver the school bags to the local children.

That evening was the first conference meeting at the church and at least one person from half of all families we visited earlier in the week attended.
