So as we come to the end of a very busy and successful week our thoughts turned to the future and how we can support the work of Victory Church.

To help pay the rent on the church building and houses we came up with the idea of “Adopt a Day”. We realised that if we could raise £15 every day of the year we could cover the cost of the rent.

Andy also had some good conversations with Dan Slade International director of Partners in Harvest. They went to view a possible site for a new church complex. Kajmelina shared the vision God had given her for the church.

Dan encouraged Faton and Kajmelina to think big.

The rest of the team went back to Lammy’s house to fix a hole in the door and fit some of securing rings.

It was great to see that mum and baby were doing well. They had made use of the old stove by fixing some holes in it and moving it inside for heating the room Mum and baby sleep in.

One gift we like to leave with the people we visit is a photograph in a frame of the family. It’s something so simple, but means a lot. It shows how they are valued.

We then went up to one of the highest points in the city, a restaurant called Oxygen. There were some wonderful views.

Our last meal together as a team. Faton thanked us all for the support. He said he that it’s feels like family when we are all together, we share the same heart for helping people. Most of all he valued the time we spent with them, going and making the effort to be there.
